UCR3 is unique in its opportunity to promote and support close collaboration between research programmes within the University of Canterbury Community and to link practitioners with researchers to define and develop industry-driven research.  UCR3’s collaborative platform fosters closer relationships between academics, researchers, practitioners and policy makers and one of our key goals is to create an environment which promotes interaction across disciplines, thereby helping to develop co-ordinated and relevant research outputs which contribute to the creation of stronger disaster resilient communities.
